The Aussie market is poised to open flat later this morning, despite falls on Wall Street on Friday night after US traders turned to bonds with rising yields and the stronger US dollar.

SPI futures are up two points, at 5494 points.

In the US, the Dow Jones Industrial Average fell less than 0.1%, while the Nasdaq was 0.4% lower.

In local economic news, federal Treasurer Scott Morrison will release the mid- year budget review on Monday.
