The Aussie market will open flat to slightly stronger later this morning, after gains on Wall Street overnight.
The SPI is up five points, at 5228.
In local economic news today, the federal government brings down the budget and the Reserve Bank of Australia announces its interest rate decision.
Meanwhile, the Australian Bureau of Statistics releases March building approvals figures, the Dun and Bradstreet business expectations survey is due out as is the ANZ-Roy Morgan weekly consumer confidence survey.
In equities news, ANZ is slated to post half-year results while Woolworths is expected to release a third quarter trading update.
