The Aussie market is slightly in the green so far today, bucking the negative leads provided by international markets overnight.
The XJO is presently 10 points (+0.2%) stronger, at 4290.
Despite the minimal point gain, most sectors are in the green; healthcare, consumer discretionary and industrials are the best performers.
In company news Carsales has jumped 6.3% after reporting a full year net profit of $71.6 million, a 23% jump on last year's result.
Elsewhere Singapore Telecommunications is up 0.2% after announcing that its June quarter net profit was 945.3 million Singapore dollars, up 3.2% from the same quarter in 2011.
Around the region, Asian markets are mainly stronger; the Hang Seng is up 0.2% whilst the Nikkei is ahead 0.5%.
