We've had an interrupted session on the ASX this morning, with a trading glitch halting all trading on the exchange.
The technical issue was noted around 10:05am this morning, when reports flooded into the ASX from traders unable to transact.
Just after the market open some 6700 trades made it through but all of these trades are now under review.
The glitch couldn't come at a worse possible time for the ASX, as it is about to lose its monopoly on trading in Australia with the introduction of the Chi-X early next month.
Around the region, Asian markets are all trading higher; the Hang Seng is up 1% whilst the Nikkei is up 0.3%.
