Suda Ltd, formerly Eastland Medical Systems Ltd, is an Australia-based medical product company that develops, manufactures and distributes medical treatments and medical devices. The Company's principal activities include pharmaceutical development, and medical devices and consumables distribution. During the fiscal year ended June 30, 2011, the Company focused on ArTiMist, a malaria treatment developed for children with severe malaria, and removed NiCoSorb from its development schedule. ArTiMis malaria treatment has completed phase II trials and commenced phase III trials in October 2010. The Company's two wholly owned subsidiaries, Eastland Medical Systems South Africa Pty Ltd and Star Medical (Botswana) Ltd, were deregistered on July 16, 2010 and December 28, 2010, respectively. As of June 30, 2011, the Company's wholly owned subsidiaries included Portland Surgical Products Pty Ltd, Medical Industries Australia Pty Ltd and Eastland Medical (WA) Pty Ltd.
